TIP: |
To find the best route, consider using Eve Scout Hub Connections, which can assist you in navigating the way. |
TRAVEL NOTE: |
Gate camps including warp interdiction bubbles can be found in transitioning from/to Zarzakh, along with hunter parties, roaming fleets and PVP player's eager to directly join their faction Forward Operating Base (FOB) in the current Insurgency. Around every warpable structure present in the system every ship will gain a buff protecting it from the hazard cloud persisting in all other parts of the system. If you enter Zarzakh through any of the four gates, you'll have a 6-hour time limit during which you can only exit through the same gate you used to enter. You won’t be able to use any of the other gates in the system within this time frame. Warp to the Beacons when in System. |
TripTik086 Expedition Highlights
Visit Zarzakh, an ancient and mysterious Jovian system, now a perilous nexus of dark history and power.
Introduction
Zarzakh, near the "Point of No Return," is filled with ancient Jovian relics. In YC125, the Deathless Circle seized the outpost "The Fulcrum," merging their ambitions with Zarzakh's dark past. Now, the system stands as a perilous nexus of mystery and power.
Locations
Zarzakh, concealed deep within the enigmatic expanse of Divinity's Edge known as "Yasna Zakh" or "Edge of Devotion" occupies a pivotal position at the core of the New Eden cluster. Enveloped in a dense shroud of cosmic dust and debris, this shadowy system is inexorably drawn towards the menacing black hole termed the "Point of No Return" by New Eden's inhabitants. The pervasive Gravity Hazard, a relentless vortex of crushing particles and gases, makes any journey beyond the safety of gates and stations fraught with peril.
The system's most haunting features include the ancient Jovian gates and the abandoned outpost referred to as "The Fulcrum." These relics of the elusive Jove civilization, known for their advanced yet inscrutable technology and abrupt disappearance, stand as eerie markers of a bygone era. The gates suggest hidden routes of old, while The Fulcrum looms as a silent testament to the Jove’s mysterious legacy.
In YC125, the Deathless Circle, a formidable and clandestine new power, emerged from the shadows of New Eden’s criminal underworld to claim The Fulcrum. The origin of their knowledge about this concealed Jovian system remains a mystery. What arcane secrets do they guard about the Interstellar Shipcaster and the Jove's lost technologies that are unknown to the rest of New Eden? Their control has intertwined with Zarzakh’s dark lore, transforming the outpost into a foreboding stronghold. Zarzakh has thus become a nexus of peril and intrigue, where the remnants of the Jove’s vanished empire and the Deathless Circle’s ominous power merge, intensifying the system’s profound enigma.
In YC126-11-12, a new structure emerged in Zarzakh, shrouded in mystery and known only as The Warden. Nearby, two enigmatic engineering complexes have risen one dedicated to the trade of Atavum and the other to the exchange of Infomorph Decryptors.
Once we were mighty, Stars bent to our will, Our reach was infinite, Our power incontestable, With outstretched hands we tried, To touch the face of perfection, But we came too close, To that which is not due mortals, And our punishment is our curse, Our endless sorrow.
