TripTik108 Expedition Highlights
Introduction
The site is simple and striking: a massive, wrecked Keepstar drifting empty in space. In the background, the Cauldron and the Vapor Sea nebulae glow softly, framing the silent ruin.
Locations
This system was home and headquarters to the Goonswarm Federation and its alliance of over 29,000 members. They are part of the Imperium Coalition and have operated in New Eden since YC108 (2006).
For over half a decade, this structure was the most active citadel in New Eden, hosted the busiest nullsec market, and survived probably the largest invasion force the game will ever see.
On June 26, YC127 (2025), the Imperium Coalition finally completed its strategic withdrawal from the Delve region. Alliance leadership orchestrated a ceremonial demolition of their Keepstar, inviting capsuleers from all over New Eden on the condition that they pilot a Rifter hull. More than 3,000 Rifters participated in this event. Then, all the Rifters were sacrificed in a spectacular smartbombing show.
