TripTik111 Expedition Highlights

The Tabbetzur system is located in the Metropolis region of New Eden and holds significant historical importance due to its involvement in the Drifter Crisis and subsequent military operations. Known for its low security status (0.4), Tabbetzur has become a focal point for inter-faction conflicts, particularly between the Republic Fleet, the Drifters, and the enigmatic Deathless Circle.

Introduction

Tabbetzur became a focal point in the Drifter Crisis during YC127, when the Republic Fleet launched "Operation Harmony Breach" to investigate anomalous activities linked to the Drifters. The operation led to intense battles against Drifter and Deathless Circle forces, culminating in the discovery of Warden Connection Harmonics—artifacts believed to facilitate remote access to the Warden in Zarzakh, a critical structure in Drifter operations. These Harmonics have since become highly sought after, with multiple factions vying for control to gain an advantage in the "Race for the Hives."

Locations

  • Federation's Forewarning [YC126-12-20]:
Approximately three months prior to the infestation, the Gallente Federation declassified documents known as the "Forecaster Report." These documents, released by President Celes Aguard and Federal Intelligence Office (FIO) Director Apaset Orviegnoure, indicated a credible Drifter threat. The report linked the Deathless Circle's activities, particularly their manipulation of Jovian artifacts like The Warden, to the awakening of Drifter forces. Despite the warning, the Federation's response was met with scepticism, and the anticipated attack materialized soon after.
  • Planned Military Strikes [YC127-03-05]:
In early March, leaked Republic Fleet documents revealed plans for two military strikes in Tabbetzur. The first strike was scheduled for March 6 at 18:00, with a follow-up on March 7 at 09:00. The objective was to retrieve intelligence that would grant an advantage in developing technology to occupy Drifter wormhole systems. However, the Republic Fleet's refusal to comment and reports of Deathless Circle operations in the system raised concerns about the operation's secrecy and potential complications.
  • Infestation and Harmonics Discovery [YC127-03-07]:
Following the military strikes, Tabbetzur experienced a significant Drifter infestation. Republic Fleet's "Operation Harmony Breach" targeted Deathless structures known as Warden Relay-Chainers. The destruction of these structures revealed the Warden Connection Harmonics—artifacts believed to provide remote access to The Warden. This discovery intensified the competition among various factions to secure these Harmonics, as they are seen as a strategic asset in the race for control over Drifter wormholes.
