Slowly burn your way toward the broken stargate and enter close orbit to observe the ring structure and the residual energy arcs. A few asteroids remain minable.
If below –4.5 security status or –5 standing with the Caldari, expect a faction police response. It also serves as a Caldari COSMOS site. Failing the mission or letting it to expire will prevent you from ever doing that mission or any mission that is in the same chain. Do not even talk to the agent unless you are going to run the mission, as soon as you talk to the agent you get a mission offer that expires in seven days.

Visit an abandoned Caldari station and a destroyed stargate that dominate this site. Mined out asteroids hover nearby against the backdrop of Otomainen VII.

Introduction

Stargates form the backbone of New Eden's infrastructure. Aeons of travel time compressed into a blink through a stable, artificial wormhole. But not every attempt to extend this interstellar network was a successful one.

Foul Creek Ranch tells a story of forgotten riches and failed projects. In a private effort to turn Otomainen into a meaningful transit system, the project ultimately failed. The failed project speaks for itself, and the system remains a one-way pocket system to this day.

Plenty of objects can be found at the site. Brown dust remains throughout the area. Witnesses of former industrial efforts are visible. The remains of a large Caldari station dominate the site. A nonfunctional Gallente design stargate, clearly broken but still somehow under power, sits near the station. Scattered debris surrounds the station and the stargate. The remains of asteroids tell the story of a once active mining operation.

Several Caldari COSMOS agents are found on site. These include Goru Nikainen, stationed in a Moa above a nearby rock; Fumiku Viljanen, inspecting a piece of debris in a Heron; and Kochi Utrainen, observing the situation in a Merlin.
