Visit the ruins of The Continental, whose destruction marked the end of one of the largest public player owned structures ever to fall in Pochven.

Introduction

At first glance, it appears to be nothing more than the shattered remains of a Fortizar, its armor torn apart and its superstructure broken into enormous drifting sections. Yet every fragment tells the story of one of the last public citadels to fall in Urhinichi.

The wreck is the remains of The Continental, a Fortizar-class citadel destroyed during a massive capsuleer operation in YC128.

Even in ruin, its immense size is immediately apparent. Entire habitation blocks and docking structures have been ripped free from the station, drifting as enormous skeletal fragments around the central wreck. Numerous sections still burn, while clouds of shattered plating and structural debris slowly spread through the surrounding space.

Over 700 billion ISK worth of ships were destroyed during this battle for the region's future, and now the wreck remains as a testament to that struggle.

Against the crimson backdrop of Pochven's stars, the wreck presents a striking contrast between human engineering and inevitable destruction. It is less an abandoned station than a frozen moment in history, preserved exactly where thousands of capsuleers watched it meet its end.

For explorers, it offers something increasingly rare in New Eden: a landmark whose significance comes almost entirely from the actions of players rather than the lore of the empires themselves.
