TripTik156 Expedition Highlights

Visit an unfinished Quafe art installation transformed into a FON broadcasting complex, Arid Park is a striking asteroid monument whose named rocks and inhabited facilities tell the story of a corporate project reclaimed by its critics.

Introduction

Arid Park is one of the more unusual landmarks in Sinq Laison. What began as an ambitious Quafe sponsored art project intended to symbolize the corporation's cultural influence and prestige within Gallente society was never completed. Following a sustained anti-commercialist campaign by the Friends of Nature (FON) organization, construction was halted, leaving behind only the unfinished structure that remains visible today.

Locations

Originally intended as a grand piece of corporate art celebrating Quafe's cultural influence, Arid Park was abandoned after a successful anti-commercialist campaign by the Friends of Nature (FON). The unfinished structure remains as a sprawling framework of interconnected, individually named asteroids surrounding FON facilities, including an Information Center and Broadcasting Center. The site now serves as a hub for communication, observation, and public discourse, transforming an unfinished corporate monument into a functioning FON complex. Arid Park is also home to two Gallente COSMOS agents Croir Arghe and Astroo Opeau.
