Visit Mandoo to remember capsuleer Jeremy Tacs, a real life player honored in game by CCP with an NPC agent named after him.
Introduction
Jeremy Tacs was a pilot who faced sickness in real life but still found a way to fly in New Eden. He became a familiar presence in Mandoo, and after his passing CCP honored him with an NPC agent located here. Though his missions were later disabled due to an exploit, his name remains part of EVE’s history and memory.
Locations
The agent Jeremy Tacs was originally a Level 2 CONCORD security agent placed in this system as a tribute. His mission could be run multiple times, which led to its removal around 2012.
Beyond the NPC, Jeremy is remembered for his generosity and the guidance he offered to new players. Well versed in industrial operations, he took the time to help rookies navigate production and resource processing, sharing knowledge and support that made starting out in New Eden easier.
Jeremy’s work was encouraged by his father, Daddy Tacs and his corporation, Grumpy Old Farts.
Today, Mandoo stands as a quiet reminder of the difference one pilot can make through mentorship, encouragement, and community-minded action.
