Visit this abandoned Caldari mining colony within an unusually dense cloud, where a once productive station and stripped asteroid remains stand as reminders of The Forge’s industrial history.
Introduction
Mining remains the backbone of industrial activity in New Eden. Rusty Ridge Mine represents the lifecycle of the capitalist industrial ecosystem: discover, exploit, deplete, and abandon.
Locations
The Rusty Ridge Mine is dominated by its ghostly atmosphere. The dense clouds surrounding the site scatter the light of the Ishisomo sun and obscure the distant nebulae. If you are brave enough to venture into this site, you can find the skeleton of a large Caldari industrial station, an asteroid stripped down to its skeletal remains, and some leftover chunks of Veldspar suitable for mining. You can also find two Caldari COSMOS agents Retin Ariato, hovering in his Condor near the remains of the station, and Yru Hatamei, hiding behind the rocky debris in his Cormorant.
