The expedition is located in a Border Zone. Please be cautious. If you have time, both stations feature several observation decks with a view of the Stargates and serve hot and cold beverages. Where Gallente coffee is finer tasting, you get the stronger one at the Minmatar station. The nearby Republic Stellar Observatory is a warpable combat site in Bei that can be entered freely. TripTik132 Expedition Highlights
Visit two remarkable border sites and a stellar observatory for a journey that crosses boundaries.
Introduction
This expedition takes us to the Gallente Minmatar Border Zone. The connection between Colelie and Bei links the Sinq Laison and Metropolis regions, guiding us through three military installations across these territories.
Waypoint 1
The Gallente Federation Navy Security Checkpoint marks the edge of Gallente core space, standing sentinel over the boundary with Minmatar territories. Positioned in full view of the Bei Stargate, this stronghold monitors incoming and outgoing traffic, providing early detection of potential threats while maintaining a measure of response capability. During the visit, a strong CONCORD presence was observed at the gate, reflecting the checkpoint’s strategic importance. Civilian air traffic moves steadily through this busy station, illustrating its dual role in both security and routine operations.
As part of the Federation Navy’s mission to enhance core territory security, these checkpoints are established at key locations across the Gallente Federation. In times of crisis, the Security Checkpoint can be transformed into a full Navy Security Station, serving as a command center for docks, defenses, and monitoring devices, capable of coordinating military operations and responding to emergencies.

Waypoint 2
The Minmatar Border Security Outpost hovers above the Colelie gate, keeping a vigilant watch over all incoming and outgoing traffic. Its massive hangar can accommodate large military vessels, while a space dock positioned above the main hangar allows for heavier inspections and maintenance operations.
Minmatar personnel live in adjacent habitation modules, ensuring the outpost remains fully staffed at all times. During the visit, heavy civilian traffic was observed weaving through the station, highlighting its role as both a checkpoint and a hub of activity. Like its counterpart on the other side of the gate, the outpost is equipped with extensive surveillance arrays, giving it a commanding view of the surrounding space and enabling careful monitoring of all who pass through.

Waypoint 3
Hovering above the Bei star, the Republic Stellar Observatory is one of the EDENCOM anchored monitoring stations deployed above key stars to track unusual stellar activity linked to the Triglavian Collective. In Minmatar space, it remains constantly crewed and protected, contributing system wide bonuses to shield capacity, webifier strength and mining speed. The observatory serves as a critical outpost, ensuring New Eden’s defense operations in the region remain secure and operational. It is a warpable combat site in Bei that can be entered freely unless you have negative standing with EDENCOM (Cosmic Anomaly: Stellar Observation Post and take the gate).
