The following are quick reference tables for evaluating PVE exploration site danger (such as hostile NPCs and/or exploding cans) based on the cosmic signature name. The cosmic signature type is identified at 25% scan, the name is revealed at 75% scan, and the site is warpable at 100% scan. Thank you to David Louis for the original forum post.
Note: "SAFE" does not mean you are safe from PVP. Always assume you are being hunted by other players. Be forever vigilant dear explorers!

Exceptions for Shattered Wormhole Systems:
1. Standard Shattered systems can contain sites of their own class, and also one class higher or lower.
2. Small Ship "C13" Shattered systems contain sites only found in C1, C2, or C3 systems.
3. Sansha Shattered systems (J005299, J010556, J011195) can spawn Sleeper Cache Data Sites (see below).
4. Silent Battleground (a very rare Data Site) in Shattered systems is SAFE.

Gas cloud harvesting sites are quite variable. In general:
1. Mykoserocin nebulae are SAFE and found in HS, LS, and NS systems.
2. Cytoserocin nebulae are found in LS and NS systems. In NS, they can explode and/or spawn NPCs.
3a. Fullerene sites are found in wormhole systems.
3b. Ordinary Perimeter Reservoir sites found in wormholes deal immediate high alpha damage!
3c. Other wormhole gas sites will spawn NPCs based on a timer that is triggered upon warping to the site.
Table Legend <> = wildcard SAFE = no NPCs; no Timers; nothing bad you can activate X = possible site location HS = high sec; LS = low sec; NS = null sec C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, and C6 = wormhole system class
